For clients infected and affected with HIV/AIDS in the Mansfield, Marion and North Central Ohio region, we offer case management services including but not limited to assistance with budgeting, nutrition, transportation, completion of OHDAP and HEAP applications and information and referrals to agencies in the community who can help HIV infected clients and their families reach stabilization and self-sufficiency.
In addition, ARC Ohio is the local provider of Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) case management and emergency financial assistance for short term rent, mortgage and utilities for those who qualify. Proof of HIV diagnosis is required for services. In addition, assistance with short term rent, mortgage and utility requires proof of household income with persons needing to meet the 80% Median Income Guidelines for the county in which they reside.
As of April 1, 2009, AIDS Resource Center Ohio (ARC Ohio) began administering the Ryan White Part B HIV case management and emergency assistance program for Erie, Huron, Wyandot, Crawford, Richland, Ashland, Knox, Morrow, Seneca and Marion Counties. This program was previously administered by the Center Street Clinic.
A personal goods pantry is also available to our HIV-positive clients monthly.
